Trends and Challenges in Electric Vehicle Motor Drivelines - A Review

Considering the need to optimize electric vehicle performance and impact of efficient driveline configurations in achieving this, a brief study has been conducted. The drivelines vehicles (EV) are critically examined this survey. Also, promising motor topologies for usage presented. Additionally, benefits drawbacks each kind from system viewpoint. majority commercially available EV powered by permanent magnet or single induction type motors standard mechanical differential driveline. these, holistic review performed including different battery types. authors suggest that be evaluated contrasted using standardized driving cycle.
